Why we organise critical reviews
We group complaints to help you find the details that matter when choosing a restaurant. Something that bothered one diner may not bother you. Our filters narrow the results using your choices and the data we have; they don’t turn the remaining places into recommendations.
Where the information comes from
RipperFeeds uses collected restaurant details and review statistics, AI-generated topic labels, and comments posted here. We show Google ratings separately from our critical-review scores and link to sources where available. The collected reviews describe other diners’ visits, not our own.
Restaurant pages show selected quotations. Follow the link to the original review for the rest of the account and any later updates. We assign topic labels during analysis; the reviewer didn’t choose them. Our sample may miss some Google reviews, and information can change after we collect it.
How we use AI
We use AI to group written 1–3-star reviews by complaint. It can miss context or choose the wrong topic. Counts describe what appears in our collected reviews; they don’t prove that a claim is true. How RipperFeeds works explains the score calculation and how your preferences change it. Comments posted here don’t affect the score.
Corrections and restaurant responses
Diners and restaurant representatives can request a correction. Send the page address, what you think is wrong and a source that supports the change. We’ll check the available evidence. Disagreeing with a reviewer’s opinion is different from finding an incorrect detail or topic label. Rights holders can use the same contact to raise concerns about specific content.
Community rules
Keep comments relevant and based on your experience. Say so if you represent a restaurant or have a business connection.
- Discuss the food or service respectfully, without attacking people.
- Don’t post threats, hate, harassment, sexual content or graphic material.
- Don’t share private contact details, identify other diners or make unsupported personal accusations.
- No spam, paid review manipulation, impersonation or unrelated promotions.
- Only share material you have the right to publish.
Sign in to report a comment. A moderator will need to review it; a report doesn’t automatically remove it, and we can’t promise an immediate response. Moderators can remove comments, and authors can delete their own. A deleted comment may leave a marker in the thread, with replies still visible.
Advertising and sponsorship
RipperFeeds has no ads at present. If we add ads or sponsorships, we’ll label paid placements and keep them separate from restaurant results and editorial content. Payment won’t change the score formula or remove complaints. We’ll disclose relevant affiliate or business relationships alongside the content.
