Sign-in cookies
Cookies are small pieces of data saved by your browser. We use these cookies to keep you signed in and check sign-in requests:
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
tablescout_community | Keeps you signed in. Scripts on the page can’t read it. | Up to 30 days |
tablescout_signin | Checks that the sign-in request came from your session. | Up to 30 minutes |
These cookie names come from an earlier name for the project. They apply to our community API. Google’s sign-in service may also save data under its own policies.
Preferences saved in your browser
Local storage remembers comparisons (local-table-comparison-v1) and criticism priorities (local-table-priorities-v1). Older saved places (local-table-shortlist-v1) stay in this browser until you import them into your account or clear them. We store a change time (ripperfeeds-saved-change) so other tabs know when to reload your saved places. Account saves themselves are on our server.
Session storage remembers your nearby-search location if you’ve shared it (local-table-nearby-location) and a link back to your search (directoryBack). These last for the tab session and aren’t used for advertising.
Advertising & analytics
RipperFeeds doesn’t currently use advertising or analytics cookies.
If we add Google AdSense, it may use advertising cookies and other identifiers as described in our privacy policy. We’ll update this page and add consent controls where required before those technologies run. You’ll be able to review the available choices through the site’s privacy controls.
Clear or block browser storage
Your browser’s site settings let you inspect, block or clear cookies and other saved data. Clearing it removes your browser preferences and any older saved places you haven’t imported, and may sign you out. Account saves will still be there when you sign back in. Public comments and other server records won’t be deleted. You can also revoke location permission in your browser and remove the nearby filter from your search. Contact us for other privacy requests.
